We got some fresh snow overnight, about 2″; most of the East Side was groomed super early this morning: if you ski mostly anywhere else first thing today, you will encounter that layer of fresh snow. For the most up-to-date status on what has been groomed and when, reference the color coded list of trails and grooming times located below. Plan on slower conditions with the fresh sharp snow flakes interacting with the wax on your skis, but to speed it up use wax made for slightly colder conditions than the current snow: Toko blue for glide, and V30 for kick. Mike’s Mile is closed today in anticipation of heightened avalanche danger. Enjoy the wintery conditions out there today.
