Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series

CB Nordic’s Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series is bigger and better than ever! 10 races across the valley will allow you to have fun and stay fit all winter.

New for this season:

• Weekend and weeknight twilight races (3 Saturdays, 4 Sundays & 3 weekdays).
• Relays, skiathlon, pursuit and mass-start events.
• Party after every race with adult beverages!
• New to racing? Try the FUNSKI category with shorter distances.

All races will include 1K/3K distances for our youth competitors, a 5K “Funski” distance, and longer distances for the more competitive skiers.

Points will be awarded based on your finish in each race and tabulated World Cup style over the season. At our end-of-season community celebration, we will crown champions for Men & Women in adult, Funski, and youth divisions.

Team sprint format will consist of teams of two racers, each skiing a lap and exchanging with a partner, repeating until each of the two racers has completed 3 laps.

Saturday, February 19th, 2022 – Magic Meadows
Check-in/bib pickup at the yurt starting at 9:00 AM

This will be a two-person team relay race on the Magic Meadows race loop starting and finishing at the Yurt. Youths will race a shortened version of the course with adults racing the 2.5K loop.

Saturday, March 19th, 2022 – Town Ranch Trails
Check-in/bib pickup at the trailhead starting at 9:00 AM

SKIATHLON – Racers will start on classic skis for the first half, swapping skis and poles to skate for the second half of the race.

9:30 AM – YOUTH 1K/3K Freestyle
10:00 AM – FUNSKI 5K Skiathlon
10:30 AM – ADULT 10K Skiathlon

Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 – Ruthie’s Run

2:00 – 5:00 PM – The freestyle obstacle course will be open for all racers. Racers can complete up to 3 timed laps during the three-hour time the course is open with the fastest single lap time determining the places.
